Common Grounds Coffee House

Welcome to Monocacy Valley Church, a place where you can meet some real people and start to make some sense out of what God has to do with your real life? Monocacy Valley Church is as real as your morning commute and a lot friendlier.

We're a come-as-you-are church. Come in jeans or business casual. Bring your own coffee or have a cup of free trade on us when you get here. Come if you've been a Christ-follower all your life; come if you've barely heard of him. Come if you know where you're going; come if you're feeling a little lost. Wherever you're coming from, we've been there too. Come as you are.

 

Worship times are Sunday at 9:00am and 11:00am

Nursery, Children and Youth programming provided during each worship

 

What can you expect when you get here?

Expect to be impacted by the ageless truths of the Bible as they are presented through drama, multimedia and practical messages. Expect contemporary music in a variety of styles, led by our talented worship band, that moves you to lively clapping or quiet reverence. We believe you'll want to join the singing, but if you'd rather let the voices of others swirl around you, that's ok, too. Expect to laugh a lot. Expect to think the message was prepared with you in mind. But don't expect to worry about knowing what to do and when to do it. MVC isn't a highly liturgical church. We believe you will be impacted by the scripture message, but we know the Holy Spirit works in His own timing. We won't be asking you to come forward during the service.
