Discipleship Ministries purpose is to create a community of biblical
discipleship in which all members of Monocacy Valley Church embrace their identity as lifelong
learners, seekers, and servants of Jesus Christ (as disciples). This
discipleship community will be dedicated to sharing God’s love for people
through humble service and bold testimony, and to disciplined relationships in
which each member shares their faith journey with others as a basis of mutual
learning and as affirmation of discernable growth. Matthew 28:18-20New International Version (NIV) Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” Everyone follows, everyone leads! We provide places for community to
happen through the following ministries | |
