Our Worship Ministry teams encourage and support the Body’s authentic worship and spiritual growth.  It’s our desire to serve through our artistic and technical gifts in a way that would fully express our love of God, strengthen us and inspire others.

Our contemporary bands and ensembles lead congregational singing, provide preludes and special music at weekend worship services and other MVC events. The Music Ministry also serves the greater community during various non-profit events, community festivals and worship concerts.  Our monthly Common Grounds coffee house event showcases the best area musicians and benefits worthy non-profits.

Our Sound Team enhances the worship experience by seamlessly providing all necessary audio support for worship services and any other church events that require audio mixing; by recording the Sunday message for distribution online through our website, as well as on CD; by assisting in all aspects of audio enrichment for the other church ministries.

Our Multimedia Team seeks to enhance worship and draw people into a deeper experience through the use of visual multimedia by preparing words and graphics to support congregational singing; by preparing “commercials” about MVC events; by finding or creating video clips and other graphics which enhance the worship message; by occasionally videotaping the worship service or other events in the life of the church.

Lighting creates atmosphere and enhances all aspects of the worship experience.  This team serves by designing lighting; by preparing lighting arrangements in advance of services and events; by “running” lights during services and events.
